I went to Bioul on Fire 2025, and it turned into one of those evenings where you realise pretty quickly that the place is doing most of the work for you. The lights were good, the setting looked great, and the whole thing had that cosy end-of-autumn mood where everything feels a little extra atmospheric for no real reason. Pyronix carried the entire atmosphere from the moment we started walking

There were a lot of people, but in a friendly, easy way. We walked through the castle park in one big group, moving at that natural “this is nice, let’s not rush it” speed. It made the whole thing feel like a guided stroll without anyone actually guiding anything. Just everyone quietly agreeing that the path looked too good to speed through.
The park itself did a lot of the heavy lifting. Different pockets of light, colours bouncing off the trees, little moments that made you slow down because your brain decided it needed one more look. I kept taking photos without planning to. The kind where you say “okay, last one” and then immediately take five more because the angle suddenly looks better.

What I liked most was how simple the whole experience was. No complicated program, nothing shouting for attention. Just a steady walk with nice visuals popping up along the way. Events like this work well when you don’t have to think. You just follow the group, enjoy the view, and let the evening do its thing.
There were plenty of small moments that made it enjoyable. People pointing at lights as if they discovered them first. Groups chatting about completely unrelated topics because the pace gave everyone time to wander in every sense. It all added this relaxed, easygoing atmosphere.

By the time we reached the end, it felt like the evening had landed exactly where it needed to. A calm walk, good visuals, and enough photos on my camera to make me question my storage choices again. Bioul on Fire 2025 was simple in the best way. Just a good evening, nicely done.
